I'm with you Jerome. this game was like how Street fighter V starting out; and I didn't give a shit about it. but now that 2.0 is out; it got A LOT BETTER. especially the second story and the characters.

I will say that yumi had a sprite from an existing game. I forget what. I just remember someone showing me a screenshot of a mobile game where yumi and others had sprites

I don't mind TAG being a dumbed down CF, cause it's a spinoff but I'd be devastated if they did this to the main line game.

still think they should have smaller packs, when they only released 1 character I would play/care about. crossing fingers that if they would release more characters, there would be more senran kagura and arcana heart. This game is basically fan service imo. not as good as many games, but just what characters they put in.

I feel ya. I actually love the game now but when it first came out I didn't care for it. As someone who's already played P4 Arena, all Blazblues, and Unist (hell the new one dropped a few months b4 it), it just felt like they crammed a bunch of chars I've already played except for RWBY, halved their movesets for teamplay and then wanted me to pay for each of them ontop of the base game. I honestly just played the game's story because it was nice fan service for fans of those games(GAVE ME A CHANCE TO SEE CF'S CAST AGAIN AFTER THE STORY'S ENDING D:) and I lost interest. But now that you can do more with characters even if some moves aren't in, and there's more characters so the game embraces itself as a Mugen I personally enjoy it. I may still play it at least until Guilty Gear drops since GG is my childhood favorite fighter(CELICA HAS A RAMLETHAL AND ELPHELT COLOR). Granblue seems cool but idk if it's enough for me to stop playing XTag.

I'm just glad that we even got something. Team Blue is kinda fucked right now, some of them were took for granblue and dbfz (and apparently ggIV) and a lot of them left for some reason. Some Team Blue employees fear that BBtag might be their last 2D project, so makes me just glad that they can still put out some new sprites. But at the end of the day its still bbtag

I only got this game because p4au isn’t on PS4 so I’m really just waiting for p5a if it ever happens I’m not saying the game is bad I have a lot of fun with it but I just got it for the wrong reasons

Like it or not BBTag is likely to make another EVO because Under Night obtained a spot also this year. Other than Granblue Fantasy and returning the format back down to 8, there isn’t another game on the horizon of taking their spot. SSBM might be done there and GGIV isn’t going to be ready for 2020. DoA, MvCI & Jump Force, please.
