Former UN chief Ban Ki-moon visits National Cemetery in Seoul

Former UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon has kicked off his first full day back in his home country by visiting the National Cemetery in Seoul.
Ban paid his respects to Korea's former presidents and to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.
Later,... he will visit his mother in his hometown in Eumseong county, Chungcheongbuk-do Province and also pay his respects at his father's grave.
Upon his arrival at Incheon International Airport on Thursday,... the former UN chief reiterated his presidential ambitions... calling for joint efforts to bring Korea together and overcome the slew of economic, security and political challenges facing the nation.
