I grew up listening to old time gospel singers and blues players. They could take their heart out and hand it to you and let you feel it beat. She reminds me of these great artist. Wow!

People complaining about her rendition...it is like the meaning of "rendition" has been lost to you! Of course this version isn't like the original. Stop trying to compare it and you'll end up seeing just how beautiful this version is. She isn't "trying too hard", this is her style, this is her vision, this is her voice and soul. And quite frankly, this is a very good example of soul music.
