Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar hoisted the national flag at the ‘Gaj Dwar’ in the new Parliament building, just a day ahead of the Special Session of the Parliament.

Meanwhile, the Congress has reiterated its demand that the Women's Reservation Bill must be passed during the special session.

Modi Govt had earlier issued a 'tentative list' of the agenda for Parliament's special session from September 18 to 22.

The Post Office Bill, 2023, and The Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions of Service, and Term of Office) Bill, 2023, will be taken up in the Rajya Sabha

This bill seeks to replace the CJI with a cabinet minister as one of the three members of the selection panel to choose the CEC and election commissioners.

BJP spokesperson, Gopal Agarwal, is skilled in diverting the main issue and resorting to whataboutery . The ruling party should have come up with the specific agendas.
It was the right decision to keep away from those journalists who have been engaged in spreading hatred and violence against the religious and racial minorities, and making false narratives. They never put any questions to the members of the ruling dispensation on their policies and activities . They keep on maligning the members of the opposition political leaders, and keep on refraining from talking and discussing the important issues flagged by the opposition leaders.
