Stay at this CHEAP Universal Studios Florida Hotel!

This Doubletree by Hilton at the entrance of Universal Studios Orlando is an absolute bargain place to say that's a 20-minute walk from the park with a theme park shuttle service. Compared to Universal resort hotels this was an absolute bargain last minute accommodation for me and I was throughly impressed with the facilities!

Come with me as I give you a room tour along with walking from the Doubletree by Hilton entrance to Universal Studios all the way to the Citywalk entrance.

Prices at this hotel do fluctuate, I managed to get an absolute bargain but with the prices changing so regularly this isn't a guarantee that you'll get the same deal but the hotel for the most part is the most affordable Universal hotel close to / on property.

In a very last minute decision I needed a quick hotel close to Universal Studios property, as most of the main hotels were fully occupied or MILES higher than their standard rate I opted for this lovely Doubletree by Hilton to rack up my newly set-up Hilton Honours account. This hotel was a steal, a short walk to the park and perfect for those looking for an affordable theme park stay without the hassle of a commute

I have just stayed at universals in the summer resort at the dockside Hotel. And that is a fantastic hotel for the price, you get buses to the parks and early entry to the parks and it’s very easy to get to international Drive which has hundreds of restaurants on.

I can't recommend this place enough it's affordable yet does everything a hotel should, the rooms are elegant and clean. It's comfortable and they have a Starbucks, gelato shop, bar and pizza in the lobby. The hotel is right across the street from Universal with bridge that's really convenient if you have small kids, you could easily walk if that's your thing, it's about a mile all the way from lobby to the ticket booths.

You do get free cookies in the UK, or definitely used to.

I only remember because the one and only time I stayed in one I wasn't allowed gluten so no cookie for me 💔

60 dollars for a night that hotel 20 mins from universal, or you can spend twice that to stay in a shed at alton towers. I know which one id rather give my money to

i dunno what doublestrees you've stayed at in the uk but! they scammed you! hahah weve stayed at a couple of doubletrees and have always been given free cookies!
