In this video I will talk about what the C6 Corvette has gone through and the costs to 110,000 miles.

I have 117000 on my 06 Base...It still runs great. Change oil every 3000 or less with Mobil 1 5W-30 and add one quart of Lucas Synthetic Stabilizer..Had to replace water pump and cheap plastic radiator, sway bar end links, front brake calipers, shocks, gas tank pressure sensor and plugs twice. Interior still looks nice...I treat the seats and all plastic parts with conditioner..Also all rubber gaskets in doors and roof and hatch. The harmonic balancer will probably need to be replaced but I see very little wobble... YET! I also change tranny, rear end oil, clutch and brake fluid... Keep car indoors so paint and lights etc still look good..I don't drive car hard...Good luck with car..Motors are fairly bullet proof if cared for..Take care..

88' 4Runner I had had 280k miles on it when I sold it. Would hear that it was still on the road for about a decade after that.

00' Silverado I had... had 225k miles when I sold it over a decade ago... to a old lady that has been towing 2 horses from Virginia to WA and back a few times a year ever since. She sent me a text the other day saying that it was an epic vehicle and that she had totaled it recently in an accident.

05' Colorado I had... had about 223k miles when I sold it too.

Current commuter 09' Escape has 212k miles on it now. Should be good for another 100k before something major like a transmission. I am running this vehicle until the end of my commuting years if I can keep the rust/accidents away.

Still... Keep thinking about getting a Corvette so I can do it in style. lol

I have 137k miles in my C6, which grade of oil do you use? 5w30? Or 5w50?

Look into mud guards I put it on my c6 and I love it

Really want a Corvette. A gs would be cool but idk if the extra ~10k is worth it. Not sure if a base base would suffice or if a z51 would be better

For a v-8 100k miles should be just breaking in, considering the price it cost new?
PS, of course when you consider a Ferrari, those seem to never even make it to those miles, , which why own a car you don't use or enjoy....

You can buy sticker kit for A/C controls and they are exact. no one can tell except you knowing you put them on.

Love my c6, an amazing car. The only problem I have on mine is the gas gauge doesn’t work. The paint could be corrected to be beside that it’s amazing. Velocity yellow is a great color

What temperature does it run on the city mine gets up to 220-225 on city streets and on the free way its at 160-180 u think thats normal temp??

The lambo doors might not look the best but I can imagine they make parking way easier with the longer doors. And wym you don’t use the doors that much? Lol do u climb through the window every time you get in or what? Lol
