This film left me feeling the same way as Zone of Interest. That was about a horror that's already happened. This is about one we should prevent.

I never expected that one day I'll be watching a musical movie about the apocalypse, but here I am....

I didn't know this was going to be a musical, I'm so ready!

Why does every movie in 2025 have to be a musical? Haven't we learned from Emilia Perez?

Ffs. A potentially great film instantly ruined by singing.

I'm calling it now. This is going to flop because what is it? Is it a musical? Is it supposed to be tense? Is it supposed to be light hearted? Is this about the end of the world or just the characters? I don't understand what I'd be watching so I'll give it a miss.

Why is the world of cinema throwing musicals at me, when my only " I refuse to watch another.... in my life"" is just; musicals.
Did an exception for LaLaLand unfortunately, which was a fantastic mistake, and here we go again with the attempt of luring two hours out of my life, sweating profusely and biting my lip, trying not to ruin the horrific experience it is for everyone else watching, surely.

The first musical movie ever made, "The jazz singer" from 1927, was also the absolutebest the genre ever had to offer, and its gone downhill ever since, with the one hysterically unneeded attempt after the other.
It's a terribly evil idea to make people go through all that. If the dialogue is so bad it has to be sung to work at all, at any level, I would prefer you don't do the dialogue at all.
Just like with pop music hits, from the bottom of the barrel of banalities, you have to sing the words to make it sound 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.
Its not just me -Pluhease!- Its the worst thing culture has to offer.
