In the Arab world, we have many Arabic version of Turkish, Greek, Balkan, Persian and Armenian songs redistributed and we know that these songs are not origanally Arabic . that's because Arabs are very influenced by Turkey, Iran, Caucasus, and the Balkan especially Greece culturally and historically but that doesn't mean that they steal or anything else, they usually buy the author/compositor right like many westerners do the same with some Arabic songs ! so please don't be rude toward us, we're sick of being worded as "terrorist, stealer, barbarian...etc"

These songs are heavily inspired by arabic music. Hence why this music genre is called 'arabesque' (written arabesk) in turkish. It was especially popular in the 80s. Thats why these songs resonate so much with arabs I guess. Let's get it straight, these are arabic melodies with turkish text. Back in the day these songs were not well received by nationalists/conservatives because they thought that this kind of music does not resemble our culture. Personally I dont really like this genre myself but music is here to bond us together and everyone can like or dislike what they want.

The whole world is using Turkish songs/instrumentals. Kinda unfair to not mention them. Some famous songs watched over 300 million times on youtube have Turkish origins and they dont mention it. Not cool. But you did a good job akhi. 😘

Wow I didn't know, we also sometimes change Arabic songs into Turkish versions I mean we translate Arab songs to Turkish and use Turkish version as these songs. Some singers were often doing this like Mustafa Sandal and Ajda
