Spending money or flying on airplanes doesn't make you a capitalist. It means you live under a capitalist government and have no choice but to spend money and fly on privately owned for-profit airlines and buy electronics sold by privately owned for-profit companies whose practices you may hate but have no control over or practical, affordable alternative to.

Under capitalism, you the citizen have no control over what is not yours, i.e. the private economy. It is the private economy which is fueling climate change — companies that profit from the coal mines, own the slum factories, commission the oil rigs, etc. — and in order to reign in climate change, citizens have to assert their control over the private economy.

Maclean's Magazine had an article saying that Tech Resources got an honorable mention this year for social responsibility. Is it possible to grow on that?

There's a sensationalist, black and white tone to this "documentary", totally lacking in subtlety in order to get the maximum impact with the activist crowd.

Documentary blames capitalism as one of the sources of the climate crisis, but it costs money for view the film online. If the film makers were so righteous, it'd be free online. I see plenty of concerned filmmakers putting their work out there as a gift because they are passionate about an issue. They are happy to take on the cost. These are capitalists profiting from capitalism while blaming capitalism in order to ride the gravy train of a cultural fad. This is like Al Gore who pontificates about energy use but lives in a huge mansion with enormous energy bills. Ignorant Hypocrites All.
