We spent some time with the GREAT @aris_latham at his 700 acre farm near Portobello. We started the day bright and early with a shotnof fresh Noni juice and cool coconut water. We watched as he presented a few recipes and dropped some knowledge on a group watching in India. His lovely Assistant, Ginette, gave us a tour of the farm and we were headed to the stream where the magical mud baths, but your girl chickened out when we were almost there. EVERYBODY knows about my “strained” relationship with nature, but I know some of you would have JUMPED at the chance to experience that natural wonder (I’ll get some pics for y’all).

Can y’all believe that TREE OF LIFE??? Ginette said the roots underground are twice as deep as the roots above!! AMAZING!!

He prepared a plate made with plantain, hand pressed coconut cream, cilantro, tree tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, onions and curry - WOW!!! I ate it SO fast I didn’t even take a photo. . . SORRY!! (See the other live video from today to watch his preparation). As we headed back to the city Alfredo and Chris De Pew were planning the meals they could add this recipe too.

We have a unique opportunity as a group to spend some time with this world renowned raw food,culinary GENIUS!! We appreciate your feedback and interest as we tailor a program/event just for YOU!! This is the collaboration our Vegan, Vegetarian Brothas and Sistas have been waiting for.

For many of us in the group, we are concerned with strengthening our immune systems, losing weight, reducing inflammation, adapting more healthy eating habits, increasing our energy to equip ourselves to live our BEST lives in this AMAZING country SO rich in natural resources and natural food!!
