MINOR ERROR; ln 13.37 is 63800 - I missed a zero. This video took me weeks to do, calling friends and reading the text book I used as a kid. I am going out on a a limb and saying the text books are wrong. The IB data booklet was wrong too, but they corrected it.

Hi, can someone explain how is value of R calculated? -79.9 *1000 /298 * ln 1 * 10 power -14 = ? how do you solve ln? please and thank you.

come that when I take inverse of ln k ( e^lnk) I get 640497, which is not at all like your value..what did i do wrong..

You were more accurate with the R value. In my text, it says R is 8.315 J/K*mol

In the last part, I don't get how the ln inverse of 13.37 is 63800, which function on the calculator are you talking about?

I also had a problem with this. As you have mentioned, Delta G standard is not zero at equilibrium (unless K is equal to 1, where the concentration of reactants and products are equal at equilibrium).
