Absolutely wonderful series and movie. The brilliant writing, actors and plots are all first class. Can’t wait for the New Era movie. Great summary Jim and Phyllis. Now that new era is streaming Netflix I totally recommend it. Really well done.

My husband took me on a movie and dinner date Sunday afternoon. The movie was the NEW ERA! It was wonderful and it is a tear jerker. I'm going to binge the series and first movie all over again!

I got addicted to the series. I bought the DVD box set, a companion book and movie DVD. I just saw the new film. It was fantastic. I will get that too.

I’m not a fan of soap operas and this is in the genre; however, it’s more historical fiction. The actors are superb and play well developed characters. The story lines are honest and enticing. I’m a fan of this period of history as it is one of the most turbulent 20-30 years in the modern era. You have to see this series on Netflix. I’ve seen it three times and wait eagerly for the movie. I’d like to see the series updated to the WWII period. Love the Dowager; she’s great.!
