Driving at night in a storm #rvlife

We were on our way to Bozeman, MT for 1 night at a Harvest Host and it started POURING.

We try not to drive at night and not long distances like this (375 miles, we prefer to stay around 250 miles) but we had to wait for a package in Gillette, WY before we could leave and we’ve definitely done longer drive days, just prefer not to…

We were in the mountains and it was dark and raining so hard you literally couldn’t see the road!! So Ryan just kept his tires on the rumble strip so he could know where to drive!!

And to make it worse the wind was blowing and we could see boulders from the mountain that had fallen off on the shoulder of the road, it was SO scary!!

This was THE scariest drive yet and we’ve been on the road almost 3 years!!

I just kept saying over and over “Lord Jesus please protect us and keep us safe” and He sure did!!

Have you ever driven in a storm like this before?? I hope to never go through this ever again lol! So, plan your route, don’t drive at night and watch the weather… check 😜
