I’m not super cultured so I’m curious, did G&W and Sonic get buffs throughout the patches or did their gameplay just develop throughout the games cycle? Both characters were considered anywhere from low-MAYBE high tier, but now it’s rare to see a top without both of them

I wish Kirby and Mewtwo were good, but Sakurai seems to hate these two characters considering how terrible Kirby’s specials and approach are and how badly Mewtwo’s traits come together.
