The ones that curry slide all the time are guardable, they gonna slide when u come up and you going to slip to the other direction. If they just curry sliding, just stay on one side, or stay in front and wait for them to do something that actually takes skill

Edit: On screens it's a different story and you pretty much commit forfeit, but once you get dragged by the screen, they gonna curry slide to the other direction, I recommend, going behind

2k doesn’t punish playshot for running into the defenders while doing some wierd ass dribble. Like how does that make sense. If you do that to me in real life I’m 7/10 stealing the ball from you. It’s so illogical to even dribble onto the defenders body in this game.

You should do a video about the sliding on defense. I think 2k did this to make the game easier to play for casual players along with the whites in the park. I am assuming/hoping that they make the movement normal again like 20 or any other 2k on next gen. This game is just advertisement for next gen in a bunch of ways.

For people without the arrow you just have to disengage the intense defense button LT/L2 get in close to the person you want to guard than re-engage LT/L2 to lock on to that person

I’m a 6”7 PF all defense build. I guard the play shot for my team, and if there isn’t one (which is rare), I guard the biggest guy. I find it fun to dish the ball to my teammates and get assists and get blocks and steal rather than get points. I get a couple buckets every game, but I get about 13 RBDs, 3 STLs, 3 BLKs, 4 ASTs, and 4 PTS.
