that is such a sweet thing to do for your mother's birthday ^^ I can tell, this film meant a lot to her. it must've been nice to come back after 5 years. the pegasus fountain is so pretty. 2:02 that is such a beautiful lake looking out from the residence.

Glad you enjoyed your time in Austria, Yasmin! I saw "The Sound of Music" in a theater when it was re-released several years ago, and enjoyed it, but have no real desire to watch it again.

I did exactly the same trip about 6 years ago although we went to Halstatt on the train it was beautiful scenic journey and quite cheap it stops other side of that water you saw and you arrive at Halstatt on a boat so beautiful as it comes into view. We also visited the spots you did for sound of music and the Mozart dinner and music which was so special.
