To me kettlebell long cycle has become yoga with weights. Especially during longer sessions your mind is pretty much blank and all you focus on is breathing, the correct movement and trying to withstand the mounting pain. I love it.

Oh yeah. I read Russian champion Denis Vasilev’s programming book where he recommended 3 times a week of one of the lifts you want to get good at (so Long Cycle, Jerk, or Snatch), and go “up to” 10 minutes. So 1, 2, 3, 4, or 4, 3, 2, 1, or 1, 2, 3, 2, 1.

I personally chose the long cycle just because I love the movement, the constant motion with resets. It’s relaxing in a way, even though it’s very exhausting.

I used to like the double kb snatch and didn't think it was dangerous until I tried using dbl 70lbers...
Didn't get hurt, but it's scary, and I don't think the benefits outweigh the risks.
The hope was that it would help the barbell snatch numbers....and it didn't. In full disclosure coach Dan John said theuvwere dangerous a long time ago!!
