Also maybe try one of those enclosed cone air filter “chargers” that you can get on ebay that surrounds the air filter and has provisions to run a flexible duct to somewhere with cooler air (might be able to duct it down to the pocket between the fender and front bumper where the bumper support brace is)

Rotate the air filter so it's just behind the driver side pope up headlight. You can make a heat shield to surround it. I would also suggest you get one of the headlight covers that has a naca duct. That should help, the piping would have to get creative. Alot of the rotrex Miata people do something like this. That is what I'm going off of.

Man. Whoever helped put that suspension on did a great job :) Definitely the reason the K-swap felt so good.

I vote for ITBs sticking out the hood to lower intake temps

Congratulations guys! I'm guessing 200HP and 165lb ft torque. Can't wait for the next video

So how much does it cost to swap the engine and what BHP is it and is it reliable

try running methanol injection to lower coolant temps, also create an aluminum heat shield for the intake

Awesome work guys!!! That ole girl wants to rip!!! I noticed you don't have a under tray, not sure if u cant have one cuz of the swap but they will help with directing air flow where it needs to go. Should help with under hood temps. Always can cut vents into hood. Since you have to trim the hood anywayz to stop the rattle maybe thats a good move. Either way i know you'll figure it out you guys r killing it!

What octane do u have. Like 87 89 91 is like i have here in California

An aluminum heatshield may help with the intake temps, along with potentially either a headlight lid intake or turn signal intake. Also an undertray might help the engine bay air flow better. Finally something like a JoeFis intake for NA Miata (Where the intake is placed in front of the radiator) is probably going to work well, but it might be hard to design something dedicated for a K swap!
