Grazie, grazie, grazie!
Against all odds I've managed to disassamble the crankset of my ebike buying after mulling over a lot what gear to buy on Amazon (pricey as hell: 38 euro for the Park Tool Lrt-2 and 6 euro for the Shimano piece of plastic "torque" key). Keep up the good work!

Cheers for the great video, I developed some creaking when pedalling on my EP8 with 300 miles. Followed this video to help with removal and greased the connection points and threads. It’s been silent running since. Cheers!

Hi Dave Thank you for the Video. I changed the Beratung successfull bought a new accu for my Focus Jam2. But after start up I get E10 error… could be a calibration topic? All connections and wires are approved cleaned and seems ok. I doublechecked it several times now. Do you have any idea how to solve? Your response would be highly appreciated BR Stefan…

It's possible change my shimano e5000 motor for another motor shimano? E6100 or E7000 or E8000 or EP8? With the same suport

Hi Dave, great video!
I was amazed how easily you removed the lockring on the chainwheel, as they're supposed to be done up to 40Nm. I changed mine (factory fitted) recently, and had to hang on to the left hand pedal and then use a tremendous effort to undo it.
Its odd that the Shimano tool, unlike the Park tool, doesn't have a hex fitting, is there a special "crows foot" to go onto a torque wrench for tightening? I wonder what the mileage was on that motor, and how you rate them for reliability, against the Bosch? Cheers....Pete

Hi there really would love to know how much roughly shimano would charge to rebuild the motor ? Or how much would a new one set you back? I have a focus jam 2 & love it so honestly dreading this day as I saved every penny to buy one second hand so wouldn’t have any warranty & tbh have it derestricted
Would love to know cheers

I have an ep8 which will randomly cut out and have to push the power button to turn back on, any connections I should check/clean first myself before taking to bike shop? Thanks!
