You deserve it. Here's how to make pancakes.
*Ingredients:*
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Butter or oil for cooking
*Instructions:*
1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract (if using) until smooth.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; it's okay if there are a few lumps.
4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil to coat the surface.
5. Once the skillet is hot, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake and the edges start to look set, about 2-3 minutes. 6. Flip the pancakes and cook for another
1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
