About 8 months ago I quit my job without much of a plan, I had some thoughts and a list and was ambitious but never took action, and I never reached the people I thought of getting in touch with. Burnout from my previous job and career turned me extremely cynical and I allowed that to stop me with the "Why bother at all" and proceeded to very unwisely waste time (Cynicism is such a poison).

Having blown over half my savings and having some expenses coming up has forced me to do something about it, I was already turning into a grunt just by thinking of having to go back to IT. All this to say, thank you! It's like a light in the darkness to have someone give you some direction when feeling this lost and directionless. It brings a bit of hope and it makes a difference.

I love the quote "Action breeds clarity" and I am going to put it around my living spaces so as not to forget.

Time to try and get past the "Separation Stage" 🙌

What if you love the career path you studied and worked towards too… but there are no jobs and the industry is extremely difficult to pierce? I feel so heart broken. I choose something that works so well with my skill set, personality and lifestyle, but can’t manage to get my foot in the door. 💔😭
