In this tutorial I show you how to add a decal or logo to any model in blender really easily. I created this method after needing a really easy way to add lots of decals to a model I was making and ended up with this and I think that it ended up working really well. (Also sorry for the re-upload somehow I uploaded the first video without sound so I fixed it and uploaded that.)

From the way you worded the explanations to the time you spent on each part and all the topics you covered, this was perfect. Thank you.

I was about to unwrap A LOT of UVs, but this is such an easy workaround. Brilliant.

Nice, this is the simplest “vanilla” decal tutorial I’ve seen thanks!

Also for the non transparent backgrounds you don’t need the mix shader, the image comes with the transparency already being fed into the transmission of the principal BSDF, you can just put the image and with the color ramp into that transparency instead.

Either way, really great tutorial!
