Wab is articulate in both ways. Young First nations people like Wab make me hopeful that there will be peace and prosperity for every on Turtle Island.

I always thought when given something as a gift, to never give it away.

I had always thought that the terms aboriginal, first nations and native Canadian were interchangeable. Thank you for explaining the differences in meaning!

People say I like whites, blacks and Indians when those races are listening but then badmouth and complain when they're not there. I don't think this hypocrisy will change very soon. I believe my great grandkids will still talk about the whole white and black and brown thing. Even right now, many of my white friends complain that they are the ones being disctiminated against! All will never be completely well with the world.

As a First Nations' man I know that I am not like every other Canadian, and I will never be like every other Canadian. This was, is and always remain "my" home. Aside from my First Nations' brothers and sisters the rest of you are merely glorified squatters.

Anger and dividing will not serve anyone...are we ever to heal? Not sure about getting rid of the Indian Act, would be like getting rid of oil and gas as our primer energy source over night. But we need to support each other in our growth and positive alternative resources...People are one of these resources, no one is better than their Creator...the self and how you view your world.

So, if one "doesn't" believe that success comes at the expense of the other, why the blockades that are designed to hurt the economy? I agree that Canadians can succeed together, but I wouldn't bring forth my belief by causing such chaos and damage.

Wab Kinew lists 'activist' at the top of his resume, which tells you a lot. He's basically had a lot of low-responsibility jobs, which he got because we treat Indigenous people like kids at the Special Olympics. But he's really not much more than a whiny, ungrateful brat, cosplaying an absurd Indian fantasy.

Did you read his children's book, 'Go Show The World'? Every copy should come with this disclaimer:

"The author of this book acknowledges that this book was written in an alphabet he learned from white people, painted in a style learned from white people, using oil paints invented by white people, written in rhyme learned from white people, printed on paper created by white people, and published by white people in exchange for white money. In exchange, the author defames white people by claiming that schools created for his people were deathcamps."

I hope he realises that there may be little change or no change or big change for the worse. The power is not with Indians or blacks. It's with the whites anx from what I know about human nature - if it does not affect you it is trivial or non-existent.
