Great interview. I would HIGHLY doubt WWE would've let him do the G1. Not because they "hate" him or want to hold anything against him, but it's like... if you let him do it, now you're gonna have X amount of people wanting to do it too. Then it turns into, why can X wrestler do it but not me? Would probably create a little bit of hostility backstage.
