My Grandparents were married 71 yrs. We lost Gpa in 2021... still have Gma. We all look up to them for everything. Amazing role models, 4 generations came from them and we were all raised very close. ❤❤

I am a gen X my parents were the greatest gen and the silent gen. I was raised with phenomenal traditional value and I am extremely grateful to them for it!

One day the cult will come to realize that there is more than just a little value in TRADITIONAL values! Keep it up, Benjamin!

Ben, You remind me of the traditional values once held in the 50’s & 60’s.
I strive for them every single day

The desire to hook up with someone and get married is dying inside many young people born after 1990. A crumbling social society is to blame

Id love to see a study on how we got to the point of idiocracy with sex and dating. Which generation set us down this path.

I idolize the great grand parents and aunts and uncles and older people in my family. They worked hard and they have the fruits of that work. Every last one of em. Working hard doesn't mean digging holes or lifting boxes. It means staying disciplined and pushing through no matter what. In work, marriage, all of it.

My parents are 83 and 74, and are in no way stupid. I'm looking at two lapel pins, left over from handing them out on the playground, gosh, 40+ years ago. They read "Reagan for President" I'm told i met President Reagan, but my only real memory is how bad the food was at a fundraiser, and how much I didn't care! It was so exciting even as a kid, people were so optimistic and happy. Kind of downhill from there.
Sorry, couldn't listen to more without defending my parents. My Dad is 83 and cares for my Mom, who has Alzheimer's. He had five jobs when I was in high school. They have been married since 1966. My Mom is a Biblical scholar, often mistaken for a super model. I got to send her to Israel for her 50th bday. See why I needed to defend my parents? ♥️ My Grands were Dems.

For a long time now- I'm only 31 by the way. Lol But for a long time I've been saying that it is very funny how parents complain about today's generation when this generation was raised by the last generation. Therefore, some blame should definitely go on to the parents.

I lost my one grandmother in 2001, my paternal grandfather in 2004 and maternal grandfather in 2006. As much as I miss them more than all the words in the world, I'm almost glad they didn't make it to see how messed up this world has become. They were all really traditional people. My maternal grandfather and grandmother were together since very young and had 11 kids together. My paternal grandfather was very hard working, strict but loving, and very no nonsense. They would all be rolling over in their Graves would they see the times we live in and how lost this generation of people have become. It's absolutely wild. Everyone trying to defy facts and nature to make things how they want it and people have to comply with mental illness and delusion or face backlash.

Once the baby boomers and their parents ( our grandparents ) are all gone we are doomed .

Lol I love him.

While there must certainly be exceptions to every rule, I believe most people would be happier in a committed marriage where raising children is the primary focus. This comes from a feminist who used to be all about the "I don't need no man!" type of attitude. Then I got married and had kids.

Many people have been saying the same thing, that nothing means anything anymore beyond how it sells.

We millenials had grandparents who believed Marriage was Marriage and Divorce was only and absolute last solution if you tried literally everything if the relationship wasn't dangerous. Just make it work.

I dated a couple of guys in my 20s and it didn't work out. 33 and single... not a lot of substance out there sadly.
