The food value chain in restaurants

The South African restaurant industry report 2023 shows that 2022 saw South African restaurants receiving 3,5 million reservations, with 17,8 million diners seated at eateries across the country.

That's a lot of eating, despite economic pressures on a household's disposable income and data showing a 67% reduction in discretionary spending.
