Can't believe emoji are still considered updates.. I use an pixel 2xl, and have plenty of friends with the X and 8. Never have they used it. I've asked a few of them and they said they used it when they got their phone, but never again. Why? Because it's a childish gimmick catered for kids to get the phone

For me, android still needs an iMessage competitor in the US and android tablet support in a way that rivals the iPad. Also, it would be nice to buy any android phone I want and not have to worry about whether it’s going to get new updates when they’re released.
I would go with a pixel but it sucks hardware wise.

People like to say everybody copies Apple, but that's not really the case, if you look at most the features Apple introduced that was a big hit, most if not all of them were done by somebody else first.

What Apple does is watch all the other phone companies when they come out with innovative tech, most of the time they fail to gain traction, then Apple does the same without making the same mistakes everyone else did, it's a brilliant strategy if you ask me.

You forgot that Google just copied Apple gestures, And multitasking, and that iOS 12 will be available for iPhone 5s, and Android P just for the Android flagships

I enjoyed Apple's WWDC, it was very entertaining. I was embarrassed when they mentioned only 6% of the users are on Oreo.

Well when only 6% of Android devices are on Oreo most users won’t even see these features so it’s a moot point. Google needs to do something about their fragmentation.

Like that Apple seemingly added a security feature to guard from apps or websites you try to track your info.
Like group facetime. Great for family interaction. And I'm certain at some point businesses will use it for meetings . I just hope it's somewhat like hangouts where, yes you can see everyone, but maybe bring the primary person speaking to the forefront.
Group notifications seems ok. I agree with your thought expressed in the video though. Seems android is still a bit better there.
Everything else they (Apple) added seems to be fluff.
... Wish they would've added dark mode to the phone and better widgets..maybe an option to set up app drawer similar to android so it frees up the home screen for widget placement.

I really wish Google wouldn't have copied that terrible gesture based UI that Apple introduced with the iPhone X. At least Android P allows you to disable that crap. I sure hope the option to disable the gestures and keep the recent apps and regular home button makes it to the final release.

Well..we all know that apple was the first 'real' smartphone to come up but they later on adopted their most of the OS features from Palm WebOS.(Still a resemblance)

Well Google has been the one to provide services like Chrome, maps etc..and developed ANDRIOD software as Android is a open source software other companies customize it.That's the reason why there are so many Android based running phones by different companies, later on to them the companies stopped providing the customized software as they got 3/4 years old.
It has just been a few years for Google to step up as a tech industry with its own production line.. let's see!

Whereas Apple has been a tech industry from beginning and they are growing every year with pretty similar OS from back then but with increase in privacy of data.

Since the Google has stepped into the market we can finally see more or less significant changes in iOS that too..coming up in 11/12th version.
