In this video, I will take you through creating an android recyclerview that will display a list of names.

We will enable click listener and search view in the recyclerview.

If a user clicks on any name in the recyclerview a new activity will appear and display the name of the clicked item.

For search view, we will also enable filtering of names based on the character user enters in the search view.
