A drake album/mixtape that’s mediocre? Shocker...

The 2012 year was not remotely the same Dallas team. Peja was gone, Butler, Stevenson. They let everyone go to go after Dwight Howard and Deron Williams

So no one... no one in the comments is going to mention what the 2011 mavs did to the western conference in the playoffs? Swept a PRIME Kobe right after he won a ring. Beat OKC, and the Blazers who had a well balanced roster Yes, Lebron choked tremendously.. but NO ONE predicted the mavs were going to run though the western conference playoffs like that.

Im in transit, or I would show how utterly Dallas outplayed Miami in the last three minutes of five of the six games. In the other 270 minutes of the series Miami was a little better, but Dallas totally owned the final 18 minutes. I doubt any other NBA Finals went like that.

Us Mavs fans remember that series well. The Heat dominated the Eastern conference playoffs, then ran into a brick wall... at the end of game 2.

What pisses bronsexuals off the most is telling them Iggy had LeBron boxed in the 2015 finals. They say 36 points I say 39%.

This was the one Finals loss that can legitimately be held against LeBron. In the two losses to the Spurs and three losses to the Warriors, LeBron did everything he individually possibly could, but his teammates were completely outmatched by their opponents in those five Finals.

As a Bron fan this series hurts to talk about . My guy just didn’t show up for some reason. I still have no words, I’m just happy he turned it around the next season and finally got over the hump, but no excuses for my favorite player. Definitely was a choke job

You can’t be the GOAT and have a 3-6 finals record, Jordan always balled out in the playoffs especially in the biggest stage, Lebron has had a couple embarrassing playoff series in his career

Today i got a video from you which was 4 or 5years ago man you talked about math homework and stuff and you sounded much happier :D. I like how you talk in your vids this rambly conversation thing. Just surprised me ^^.

Happy Marc Cuban Defensive scheme noises

The better team won the final. Did the Heat have better individual talent? Most definitely. But the Mavs built a roster that had great depth and synergy to get the most of their players' strengths and to cover for their weaknesses.

Sure Dallas got beat heavily in 2012's opening game. Don't forget, Cuban didn't resign a good chunk of the team. Losing Chandler had a huge impact on the Mavs defense the coming years and Chandler still had a few prime years left in him. Don't forget: he did win DPOY with the NY Knicks in 2012.

I doubt they would've been able to make a repeat to the finals, even with bringing back the whole team. But just look at the Raptors without Kawhi. Toronto isn't the same team, of course, but they're still giving the Eastern Conference a run for their money. I'm positive Dallas would've remained competitive for at least a season or two with the majority of their 2011 team.

LeBron wasn't passive in this series, it was Jason Kidd who got in his head. Not many people understand that LeBron's weakness are high IQ teams. LeBron always wanted to play with J-Kidd because of his high IQ. Watch how J Kidd defended LeBron that series as well as Marion. Both Kidd and Marion never get the credit but they are the ones who shut down LeBron by getting in his head. Oh, also DeShaun Stevenson as well.

LeBron's 2011 Playoff run was insane up until the Finals G4. Including a killer series closing sequence vs the Celtics AND a killer series closer vs the Bulls. He was indees phenomenal defensively though, even in the Finals... Maybe the best wing defensive performance I've seen...

One problem Miami had in that 2011 season was not having a true leader or go to guy. They weren't sure at that point whether it was LeBron or Wade's team. Thus causing LeBron to be a lot less aggressive and very passive.

Wasn't until they talked during the summer following the Finals, that Wade offical made it Lebron's team and making him the guy in charge.

I believe if LeBron mentally believed he was that guy that the 2011 series wouldn't ended differently. Dallas still could win due to Miami being so top heavy lacking a bench in 2011 and themselveshaving a great defensive team, but I don't see LeBron only dropping 8 points.

Call me crazy but I’ve always said top to bottom the mavs were a better team. Coach included

It’s crazy that 18 7 and 7 is considered an all time bad series. That just shows how high of a standard Lebron is held too.
