The pair of linear equation that I Took is
=>10x+y+9=0
=>x+10y+18=0
Om comparing the ratio of the coefficient we'll get 10/1≠1/10≠1/2
Therefore a1/a2≠b1/b2,
Hence these pair of lines will intersect at some unique point :) ❤

An equation is said to be linear equation in two variables if it is written in the form of ax + by + c=0, where a, b & c are real numbers and the coefficients of x and y, i.e a and b respectively, are not equal to zero.The pair of linear equations in two variables can be represented as: Standard Form: ax+by=c. Slope-Intercept Form: y=mx+b. The following are examples of two-variable linear equations:Method of Substitution

Step 1: Solve one of the equations for one variable.

Step 2: Substitute this in the other equation to get an equation in terms of a single variable.

Step 3: Solve it for the variable.

Step 4: Substitute it in any of the equations to get the value of another variable.

First Equation:

2x-y=-1

Second Equation:

3x+y=6

OBSERVATION:

Type of Lines: Since the slopes of the two lines are different (one is positive and the other is negative), they were intersecting lines.

Type of Solution: Because they are intersecting lines, they met at a single point, which means the system has a unique solution.

Method I used to find the exact solution using GeoGebra:

Opened GeoGebra and entered the equations into the input field.

The graph showed the two lines intersecting at a point.

They met at (1, 3)

The intersection point is the solution to both equations, gave me the values for x and y as 1 and 3 respectively.
