Tip from 40 trees orchard owner. If you spray with copper based products take in consideration that copper is inactive on temperatures below 5°C of 41F, you need few warm days to get this spraying done, also if rain come, it will wash away copper and for full effect, copper should stay on tree at least 5 days, so if rain wash it, it would be a good thing to repeat spraying.

Interesting. I was always told to spray with oil first, then in 3-4 days apply the copper. Garden copper is never mixed with anything because it's itself a mixture of copper oxide and lime and most other things get inactivated or destroyed in alkaline solution. Also, even though it's "organic", you should wear a mask when applying copper. I would also make sure to tune the sprayer to a much finer mist - you still need to basically drench all the branches, but the coverage is much better when the surface tension is broken up and the drops are smaller.

For the orchard ...also interesting to do companion planting.
Fruittrees need companions around them
To attract the the insects etc.
I ve planted garlic around my peach tree to avoid fungal diseases ...
Good luck with your new orchard...

Severe drought conditions are going to be a concern for our unseen future in all areas that are prone to drought. Gardeners please know that many non zone plants and even cold hardy ones in your areas will be harder to keep healthy do do the climate changing of zones across our globe. Plant as many native species and perhaps one cold zone higher in your area. Save and conserve water as much as possibly Although we have no control over nature we have control over our tendencies. Peace.

For any European viewers it's worth mentioning that most copper products are banned for amateur use as the copper leaches into the ground and has a damaging effect on the worm populations also can reach waterways and harm fish. So please keep that in mind.

Thank you Laura for the instructions, as I haven't had a fruit tree since I was a child, and then I wasn't in charge of keeping it healthy. The nurse in me was quite concerned for you, for not wearing gloves/mask/eye covering while you spray anything, even if organic. We must keep you healthy and happy so you can share your wonderful videos with us for decades to come.

Quick warning. When spraying copper too often, excess copper will build up in the soil and kill the tree. A way around this problem is to lay out plastic traps around the base of the tree then let the tarps dry before folding to store same..
