A tether bank run would be interesting to see. How much money do they really have? What if the owners are really embezzling the money and hiding it in offshore bank accounts? Tether is holding up the entire system and Tether is suppose to be backed by USD which is kind of ironic because the whole idea of crypto was to distance itself from fiat

Earl, Dude! Here's the flaw with your sell the bottom: 1. It only works if you have been a long term HODLer and bought BTC way back in the day. 2. Before you can sell, you have to have some BTC, meaning you have to BUY...and if you bought BTC during the last top then you'd be sellng for a loss at current prices. BOTTOM LINE, I think what you may be trying to say is, instead of sell the bottoms, it's better to DCA buy and then HODL. Peace!

You don't have to know if you sell the top or the bottom, you can easily buy whenever you have spare fiat currency, put it in a hardware wallet and sell after years. There is absolutely no way to lose money like that! The only way to lose money is keeping your fiat currency in the bank, no matter if they give you their funny interests or not (which has no point cause anyway they print as much as they like !)
