Love the nostalgia for Percy Jackson! My husband is constantly rereading them and it is a middle grade story that has stood the test of time!

Listening to you talk about the Percy Jackson series makes me want to go back and reread them in the future. I'd always heard so much good things about Riordan's works following that series, but I didn't really read many of them outside of a few here and there

I read the Monk and Robot duology in May as well, absolutely LOVED it. Immediately became one of my favorite books/series

3. The Writing Retreat by Julia Bartz
4. Yellowface by R F Kuang
5. Spring Snow by Yukio Mishima
and 6 volumes of Sasaki and Miyano

I just finished rereading Percy Jackson too! And it was a fun and refreshing read because I forgot most of the stories already, yet I still enjoyed them. 🧡

Never read Percy Jackson as a kid but I remember the Logan Lerman movies. Only now hearing the movies changed a lot from the books. With the Disney+ series coming is it worth checking out the books first?

I finally read my first Brandon Sanderson - The Final Empire - and loved it! I’ve been so scared to approach his books but the audio book was fantastic. Also read Swordheart by T. Kingfisher, which I think you would love if you haven’t read it!

I HIGHLY highly recommend The Endling trilogy by KA Applegate (same author from the Animorphs back in the day). Great middle grade series with amazing messages

I read my first non fiction of the year in May, it was a great book A Life On Our Planet

I read the newest Percy Jackson book, the Sun & the Star, featuring Will and Nico this month. I also read 5 other books this month: Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation vol 5, Night Angel Nemesis, Bastion, Husky & His White Cat Shizun vol 2, Remnants of Filth vol 1, and Heaven's Official Blessing vol 6. All but Bastion were 5 star reads for me.
