Our SOIL FORMULA
50 % organic & 50 % inorganic mix

Two parts potting soil
1 part Perlite
1 part coarse sand

You can adjust the mixture based on your location and plant species.
If you live in very humid areas, add more inorganic components.

Like Vina I use recycled things as well in my garden. I buy pots too like the Talavera pots but there’s something in the old stuff being recycled back to use that brings fun into the garden.

I’m looking for a variety that can be planted in the ground here in northeast Oklahoma. Last winter I brought in 131 pots with succulents. I downsized a bit and this winter I brought in 61 pots of succulents. After watching your videos I see how big some get if allowed to grow as their habit intends. I’d love to let some overwinter in the ground. Am I doomed to hauling mine in every winter? Lol!
