Regen braking torque makes me car sick and I’m hesitant buying one even I was really looking forward to it. Can I disable this permanently? And will it cause any issue with the car if you do ? Thanks.

The standard mode put a lot stress on the rear tires, makes them worn out quickly. Chill mode reduces such stress and hopefully the tires will last longer.

This menu is now different? I found the "brake burnishing' now under the 'polishing brakes' option. But when you exist the service menu, regenerative braking is also enabled again?

So what would be the optimal way to use this service feature to consistently leave regen braking off? I hate it and will sacrifice range to have it off

Hi Ryan - can you provide the access code you used in the video to turn off regenerative braking? Thank you!

So this makes it like a normal car to brake?

I would not expect a Tesla needing many, if any, brake pad changes given the most braking is done by regen. My 2007 Prius still has original brake pads at 185k miles.

IF You turn off regen you will burn your battery up. This is not a good idea.
