Thanks, Henry! I hope people (esp. creative people, as guitar types usually are) are listening to what you're laying out here. Six years ago I walked away from a high-paying, primo-insurance-providing job that I hated, to start my lower-paying, no-insurance-providing editing business. My coworkers thought I was some kind of bizarre species of animal! Come to find out over the years I had inspired a couple of other people there make some cool life changes of their own. My family surprised me by being supportive. Kudos to your wife for being so supportive, because my partner wasn't. But y'know what? That helped me leave an overall unsupportive and unhappy relationship, ON TOP OF being able to do the work I love! Fast-forward to this very moment: I built my business to a comfortable financial point! I met and married the love of my life! I wake up every day and adore what I do! Do I make as much money? Nope. Is my lifestyle 100% better? Yup! And I even managed to eventually get health ins. through my husband--bonus. So, I got everything I wanted AND MORE just by following one idea that I loved but everyone thought I was crazy to do. (In other words, aligning with that creative force/LOA.) So keep on talking! Hello Henry, I really enjoyed your story. It is very inspirational, especially being one of your new students. Although I am going through your course at a slow pace I totally think that you are an awesome guitar instructor. I appreciate your patience, and your teaching methods are perfect. I am totally a visual person, therefore is is great knowing that I have your course video's to review as much I want and need to in order to move forward as a new guitar player. Thank you!
