I live on the beach in FL and those outdoor umbrellas flying around like that are extremely dangerous. There was a lady(tourist) who was impaled by a flying umbrella a couple weeks ago near where I live. Most people don’t realize how dangerous it is. Most people don’t realize how dangerous it is to dig big holes in the sand either. They collapse really quickly and then there’s nothing you can do. People/children die every single year from holes on the beach collapsing. Just recently there was a 7yr old little girl in South FL that was killed by a sand hole she was digging. The family is from Indiana(if I remember correctly) and the parents had no idea how dangerous it was until it was too late. It’s heartbreaking. As a mother myself, I can’t even imagine what they’re going through😭
