The courts are the ones to establish the amount of support. It's based off both of their incomes and assets. $200K is what was fair in the eyes of the court. He doesn't have to pay her alimony so he's fine. If they hadn't agreed on that, he would have to pay her a percentage of his income for half the period of the marriage so for a total of three years. I'm sure their pre-nup has neither of them paying alimony and BOTH paying 50/50 for the kids.
