The reason i fell in love with tracer was because back in the ow1 beta I loved her movement, then the launch cinematic trailer launched and Geezus I loved her quirky funny comedic nature. And not relying on a team is perfect for me.

1). She plays quirky (adaptable to you itself)
2). Mobile
3). Her actual charcter is quirky and funny
4). Can be cool
5). Very self sufficient perfect for a soloQ.
6). She has great playstyles

Tracer was by FAR my favourite DPS when I started playing. Had so much fun being a little gnat, feels really good because without great game fundamentals, Tracer can be really annoying and make a big difference in a game. And when I was playing QP with my friends when I started, that's all I wanted- to make some kind of difference.
Unfortunately, my ability to play Tracer has slipped with me playing Support so much; but I want to get decent at her again and be an annoying little shit when I play with my friends.

I have been struggling for a very long time with this character. Win the first team fight easily and then 2-3 counterswaps so I have to switch characters and don't get enough practice. I end up trying to just play through the counters so I can get more hours on her. Really hard to play against a grouped up team with a Cassidy standing in the middle only focusing me when I peek at any angle.

I’ve been practicing Tracer lately and I got so hard countered lol.. they switched to Moira, Mei, Ana, and Sym. I was like wth I’m novice at BEST .. I switched to Reaper and they still focused me 😂

I will say going against tjorb is easy up until high masters gm. But it is not something you should avoid because plenty of otp tracers have climbed through those win, sym, tjorb comps……….so although I agree it is harder I feel like you should coach tracers through that vs just switching. You only get better by playing against uncomfortable situations. Also brig is probably the easiest target when I play tracer. Literally brawly is easy sticks.

the hardest thing is I do my job, drop 40+ kills and destroy the back line, and the scoreboard says i only have 9, 000 dmg and i get flamed because the no skill bastion on the other team has 15, 000 dmg and 20 kills
