This is a short video on how to build a 36" hardwood flag with blue resin stars. Im using maple and walnut to create the union and stripes. I walk through every step starting with three rough cut boards and ending with a finished flag. Feel free to ask questions or comment!! More how to videos and reviews coming!!

I like your videos! One thing I would do is put everything you use in the description. Helps out with specifics. Might get less questions on the video :) Also if you put links to where you buy stuff that will add to the video even more! But your video was great! Have a sub!

That flag turned out really nice. Been looking into doing one like it. You mentioned you would have done a couple things different. I’m curious as to what those would be.

One of the better flags out there! Do you make/sell the union piece? That's the only hard part to complete this diy.

Also one thing with epoxy that is important and it looks like you did with your video. Make sure the piece is level when you pour it on. The stars do not matter as much for level but the final pour over the whole project should be level :)

There are many similar projects in Stodoys's plans.

Way Way to labor intensive & time consuming to make a real business out of it . If it’s just your hobby then cool 🇺🇸

Very odd technique's used, , And "Blue stars??? Making the stars with the maple inlays or even stand-ups would have made more sense.. No consideration given to planer snipe?? Using wide pieces of walnut for the union and only sealing one side will end up being problematic especially when no line-up fasteners such as biscuits, dowels, or dominoes were used.. All that money for the hardwood and time spent on labor could go to waste due to skipping a few simple, small but very important steps
