How To Build A Maple, Walnut, and Resin American Flag

This is a short video on how to build a 36" hardwood flag with blue resin stars. Im using maple and walnut to create the union and stripes. One of the better flags out there! Do you make/sell the union piece? That's the only hard part to complete this diy.

Also one thing with epoxy that is important and it looks like you did with your video. Make sure the piece is level when you pour it on. The stars do not matter as much for level but the final pour over the whole project should be level :)

Very odd technique's used, , And "Blue stars??? Making the stars with the maple inlays or even stand-ups would have made more sense.. No consideration given to planer snipe?? Using wide pieces of walnut for the union and only sealing one side will end up being problematic especially when no line-up fasteners such as biscuits, dowels, or dominoes were used.. All that money for the hardwood and time spent on labor could go to waste due to skipping a few simple, small but very important steps
