generally good math, but you are forgetting one crucial thing - the price per night shown on hilton website doesn't include junk fees. the actual check out price for the stay is usually 20-35% higher than if you only look at "price per night". just a small suggestion, something to be mindful of.

Great video! I do the same for air miles. I’m from the UK, and we don't have all the credit cards you have across the pond. So buying points is a great option. It still saves me a lot of money!

Another great video! If I'm thinking through correctly, some of these examples wouldn't necessarily work unless you have a P2 to purchase points under the same 100% promotion? I assume you are doing 5 nights to showcase the 5th night free benefit but in the first example would the cent per point in your equation need to be adjusted to account for the points purchased on top of the max 240k? Keep the content coming Max! 💪

Hi Max, I want to point out, I tried to follow your affiliate link to purchase Hilton points for a hotel stay I’m planning for next year. It turns out Hilton won’t allow me to purchase any points yet. I have to wait 90 days if I don’t have any activity on my Hilton account or wait 30 days if I have activity on my Hilton account

Hey Max, is there a reason why you left out taxes? The example of January 16th to the 17th had a rate of $1338 for non-refundable, but the taxes are $181.25. Also, is it best to compare to non-refundable? I've been comparing to the flexible rate.
