As an android user I like the fact that my phone can be used when it’s years old without needing a software update that the model can’t have rendering the phone useless.

I feel like the last point could be argued in favor of Android. Sure, Apple's experience is streamlined and familiar, but it's a "take it or leave it" issue. I can customize my Android a lot easier than I could my prior iPhone. And that made a major difference for me.

But to each his/her own. Both are good brands with different appeals. Neither is superior. Just get what suits you best

Why I prefer Android:
- cheaper
- many apps to choose
- *sideloading* - you can install apps outside of the stores
- ease of use - once I wanted to try out an iPhone at the store - I put it down after less than a minute as its UI was so confusing
*Yes, iPhone was confusing.*
- features - iPhone just gets them a few years too late and often stealing them from Android
- software locking - Apple products won't allow you to fully use them, unless you have an iPhone

As someone whose first phone was an Iphone and later switched to android, let me say Android is better. I don't need to replace it every year because the constant updates slow down my phone, I'm not paying thousands of dollars for the phone, it's doesn't shatter after dropping from 2ft off the ground and I don't constantly need to buy new accessories because they keep breaking. Team Android all the way

I started with an Iphone 4S, loved it! Kept Apple all the way till i started dappling in new Andriods. still have my Android from 2019, this phone hasnt let me down it makes it easy to know exactly what i need or where im going.

Kind of summed it up at the end there "Feel cool having the apple logo on your phone". I mean, that really does it for some people apparently, but they gotta act like its more than that. 😂

You know the way Apple have been launching their iPhones with very minimal changes & many Android brands like Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus putting in a serious effort towards optimization and performance. Time will be soon, that Android will eclipse iOS at their own game✌️

quality > quantity and bloatware were the only valid arguments vs android.
everything else was for android 😂

you also didn't seem to include that apple likes to "update" their 10 month old phone to make them worse in all aspects so people will buy the newest phones that'll release in the next few months, or that apple time and time again reveals "new" features that android has had for a years.
