The Image: Maybe my favourite scene - we too spy on the anonymous woman excitedly preparing a romantic meal for her beau - casually observed by James Stewart (and us) as it gradually dawns on her (and us) that her beau is a no-show - it is the wonderful lighting of course...

I like how the woman gradually physically unravels in front of us in 'real time' - ending up with her head on the table in abysmal misery...
