my son had a basic tracfone and I got him a smart phone and it swapped his minutes over to the smart phone. He had about 2500 minutes, when the smartphone was activated he got 2500 minutes, and 2500 texts, and whatever the data translated to.

When you have a regular android phone through TracFone and somebody send you a picture text you get a little box saying download you got to turn your data on and download the picture. How come I don't get that with my iPhone SE and TracFone I never know when somebody sends me a picture text because it doesn't have that little download box. The only way for me to know is to turn my data on and then I get the text. Like when my sisters send me a group text for me and my other sisters it uses data for some reason it won't let her send that to me unless my data is on I never used to have that problem when I had an android phone is there anyway to fix this an iPhone. And by the way I bought up iPhone SE from straight talk at walmart and use it for TracFone yes it does work because I'm using it.
