This piece is written in ragtime style. The left hand jumps with the bass on strong beats, and chords on weak beats, while the right hand plays the melody.

I just compared this cover to the actual scene and it syncs up pretty much perfectly. This is easily the greatest Binks Sake cover Ive found here on youtube and Im gonna spend some time to try and learn it. My dream is to be able to play this together with friends, family and nakama, and all together sing Binks Sake, to bring joy and happiness and laughter, just as it was intended. Nobody can deny One Piece Backstories hit different. So much so that a Sea Shanty makes people cry just from hearing it again.

I love Brook. Unlike the others, he has been through A LOT and basically concluded his pirate journey once but was given another chance, and is taking joy in every second that he continues to 'live' as a result. He could easily have become a bitter, hateful person like Moria but he didn't, he decided to honour his old crew by filling out their promise. One of the best characters.
