Charity Shop Gold or Garbage - Magnetic Toys. I been touring the charity shops again and picked up a few items to review. These magnetic toys are good fun and will also be handy components for my magnetic projects.

Yes, I did say "Bargain Store" in the introduction, sorry I obviously meant "Charity Shop", my brain cannot keep up with all these different series I am doing.

Merchandise - I suggest you check both of these links if you are interested as the prices will vary and the shipping charges will be different.

Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap.

I'm a huge fan of Supermag (they were invented in the region I live in, too :) )! Here in Italy Supermag was pretty famous and also pretty expensive: those small packets would have costed you 10 euros each! However, it's true that they are neodimium magnets and with a little patience you could build a stronger magnet packing together multiple of them; I'm currently using 2 4X4 magnets for a phisics "final exam" project, and it's super strong.

Definite Gold...great purchases.
That dog was hilarious with the swinging head :)
Project idea - those magnets look ideal for making a shaker light. Maybe a large drinks store or similar for tube, wire from the dishwasher motor or solenoid. Could do Lasersabers latest circuit on the cheap !
