Today I am testing whether different rackets actually makes a difference. Comparing a $20, a $100 and my own $300 racket.

Follow me on Social Media:

Equipment:
Wood - Anders Lind Hexacarbon
Rubber - Donic Bluegrip C2 (Forehand), Donic Bluegrip C2 (Backhand)

What i love about Anders here is he gives it his all with all the rackets. I've seen other similar videos to this where you can clearly see the person holding back and purposely playing worse with the cheaper rackets to try and emphasise their point more. Fair play for just going for it with all of them. And even with his own rackets he still showed points he lost

I think as an amateur it's hard to control the high end power in the really fast blades so the consistency really helps

my wife knows im a huge fan of ur playstyle and just ordered your racket 2 weeks ago for my birthday present and I just tried it today. Its absolutly amazing. this control in short pushes is crazy, and so much spin and controll in the openings. Never felt so well in a new racket at the first day. Its like finding my wife of the lifetime. I know i dont need to watch out ever again for new rubers. just order new one when its time for. And to be honest it makes me play more confident when i know that u can this things with the same weapon that i have in my hand. Thanks a lot and i wish u do more content.

One thing my coach told me: Good quality racket won't make your game better, but it will make your game harder for the opponent

Just wanted to note that in the comments; Great vid as always, Anders!

my idea for a viral video with potentially 100k+ clicks would be going for your actual rubbers on various items / blades. e.g. on a phone, $20 blade, $100 blade, yours, then maybe even compare some numbers with spin/speed tracking devices (optional). Would have high educational and entertainment value. Enjoying your vids.

I found a 1960's 3 ply bat in a second hand shop for 50c. Took it home striped it of its old green pimpled non sponge rubber and put some half decent rubber on it. Wow its the best bat I've ever played with, you actually feel every shot you play from the ball hitting the bat and leaving the bat. The only downside is it weighs 260 grams.

I mean its a big difference playing with classic rubber like the quadro conda, compared to new technique rubbers. Overall the Appelgreen Wood is always a good choice for a control oriented style, especially if u pair it with more modern rubbers like the ones u use on ur actual blade. Also Beginners helps it to feel the ball and probably have less power for more control and also to learn the basic technique

Love the content; keep it up! I used the appelgren blade when I was first learning table tennis and it took me very far! Cool to see it featured here. You are one my my favorite players to watch and I was so happy to see it when you got your own blade named after you!

hahaa. So I understand why Aruna forehand is so powerful like that. He has played with a very cheap racket. LOL ! :D

v instructive videos keep going...liked your video on judging serve spin by sound, movement, speed please do more such videos. I am a player myself and really liked the old times of table tennis with waldner, Samsonov, ma long, zhang jike etc. You along with very few players nowadays are actually entertainers for the audience especially with your backhand sidespin trick you normally play sometimes
