Why does Vox never look sideways in Hazbin Hotel?

Показать описание
During hazbin hotel season 1 we never see vox sideways. Let me explain.
So throughout the series vox likes to stare straight on at the camera or tilt his head to the side. Even when we see him from a side angle, he tilts his head so that’s it’s not fully sideways.
Well there’s actually an explanation for this. In an interview a couple months back with hazbin’s art director, We have a rule that he can’t be seen sideways because he’s a flat-screen TV. You’ll notice that even if Vox should turn around to leave a shot, his head will stay forward.
So this is a deliberate choice by the art team. We can also see this in his character sheet, where he always moves his head to not be sideways.
Perhaps the in universe explanation for this is that vox is just insecure of his head, so he tries to avoid people seeing him sideways.
A similar thing happens with angel dust, where angel dust is rarely seen facing forward, and the one time we see him do this is during the addict video and it looks terrifying.
