It is a good idea to add pedals on the fly. I wish the board would grow to the right hand side since drive pedals are more likely to join on that side.

The videos on the Xpand pedalboards have changed my view of them. Initially, they looked like a good concept that would be impractical or unrealistic but the videos have done a great job of showing 1) how well built they are, and 2) how practical they are. The price for the bags seems to be a bit much, though!

Hear me out: a version 2.0 where there are batteries built into the smaller rails and power cables for up to 7 or 8 pedals on the larger rails for the ultimate travel/flyrig/busker board.

This video has a really nostalgic Blue Peter feel to it. And I love it because of that.

Is there space underneath for a power supply?

7:00 Trick question. What pedal is missing from behind him?

"I need to put more fuzzes on my board!" Hahaha, I feel it

If you flipped the upper rail, it may be easier to work the clip. There's Velcro on both sides I saw in other videos. But then you wouldn't be able to see the D'addario name? Anyhow, thank youfor sharing your exploration and assembly fumbles! By far the most entertaining video I've seen on this product! 😃👍

You need to be very careful about what power supply that you purchase OR already own. I have a walrus audio Aetos and it's not because of the size but the height and no way in hell it can go under this board. All I could do is mount it on top which kind of defeats the whole purpose and back the board went. Not a fault of the board per se but I think a lot of power supplies will not work because of the lack of depth. Just a small warning to consider before you purchase one.

Good call on the recyclable packaging! Small intentional steps :)

Well that was fun... I too adore putting things together. Or equally repairing them after dismantling them and putting them (hopefully) back together. You obviously did a cracking job because they're out of stock already!

I am getting really annoyed using this pedalboard while also being lead singer in a band, since all pedals are horizontal i have to step to the side to reach my pedals and move away from the mic, think i will get another one so i can have pedals going upwards.

Good job on the video, but not a fan of the expando. Like you said to expensive, where do you put the power supply?

I have the large one and it kills it for me. I change pedals a lot.

I have a 10 and a 5 board. No expand board gimmicks. Switch out worst pedal of 5 or 10 and replace with new awesome. Then arrange in correct order. Because it matters.

Like this a lot. Not the fiddly assembly or the price, though. Still might buy it.

"Push those downs and make it easier".🤣🤣🤣

Seriously, thank you for taking the time to assemble fingers and all. 😉

The Addario’s engineers did an Amazing Job Indeed.
….I will go for the Expand 2!
I know Is Pricey🤔… but It looks that it will last you for a live time!

Especially Now days when everything is made to last 5 years!
