I feel that any CC should be able to make any type of content they wish, so if you want to make less WT content and more Cursed by Design (also, the new series isn’t even out yet and I’m already more hyped than ever for it, love the content Cone), Go for it, your videos have always been top quality and lots of fun to watch.

Honestly? I can't blame you. on the contrary I encourage you to do like you want to do. WT simply IS exhausting sometimes and I can definitely see that regularly creating content that has overall the same quality is exhausting 100% of the time. I mean there's enough fluctuation in this game without the bugs and whatnot, like each Nation performs a bit different each day, sometimes even hour to hour. If you then add packetloss, ghostshells, random crashes etc it's just impossible to calculate with WT content as a semi-reliable source of income, not to speak of the impact on mental health which is much more important. And then add the general toxicity of the WT-community and et voila: we have the perfect burnout machine.

I came to this channel via the WT content but I enjoy the cursed by design short-documentaries way more, and will definitely stay for them. At first I was a bit sceptical but I absolutely loved them once I started watching, I actually enjoy them more than the WT content (I still enjoy the WT content a lot).

I'm relatively new to the channel been here for about 5 months and I gotta say cursed by design is the reason for me subbing. I think it brings new light to forgotten tanks and clears the air of rumors that surround them. As for war thunder I support your stance on the game. I myself don't play it but play wot console and if you know anything about thst you know of the Train wreck that is and several cc's have left. Its not healthy to try and force yourself to play a game thats not playable.

The real problem is that Gaijin doesnt have any competitor when it comes to WT, i feel like they would get their shit together if they had. As many other companies have done. I support your decision of stopping the war thunder videos, i prefer the cursed by design as there isnt many other places i can see interesting and informative videos as yours. Congrats on 75k!

It's perfectly understandable if you want to stop or atleast tone down contents regarding War Thunder. There's no need to keep on going if all the addressed issues that has plagued this game isn't going to be fixed or anything. Honestly, self mental health is more important, so I understand if you felt burnt out.

I think it's a great thing your doing here Arc. Your putting your health before the videos and I'm sad to say not many creators I watch do that anymore.

As a fellow player I see every point you make about how hollow and mismanaged the game has gotten over the years. It's enough to make a lot of people like you who clearly love the game quit. I've been playing the game for nearly two years now and I've watched it grow bit by bit but fall steadily in terms of playability and quality. So I get it, I really do. Me and everyone else here are behind you on putting your health and enjoyment first. Part of running a YT channel is enjoying the content you make while working. If you don't... you just make yourself more and more miserable as time goes on for whatever little ad revenue you get plus whatever you may get from gaijin (I'm not sure if CC's get played for they're advertising the game or not)

If I may, however, leave a suggestion.
You've played the game for 5 years now and that's a hard thing to step away from. Putting all that time into a game isn't easy. I suggest that you make War thunder videos once in a while, once in a blue moon if you will. It's a popular series people love to watch and it's what brought people like me here. So I suggest that if you DO continue doing WT stuff, maybe do it in the same form people like RussianBadger do. Get some friends together, get into a squad together and just have fun. Take a step back from content creator status and just upload unedited, unrefined, raw videos of you and your friends enjoying War Thunder together, allowing you to keep the game as a historic part of the channel, but uploading it from a more civilian point of play, for lack of better terms. With it being unedited, it's less work and more time to actually enjoy the game you've been apart of.

i really enjoyed the twitch highlights, mainly because its just you and some others talking while playing WT, which for some reason i find entertaining

I think every game, more specific this kind of style, has it's limited life span. After some years, it drawns itself after countless of updates and changes. First it was WoT, now it's WT. We just need to find a new online tank game. I heard there was one in development, more concentrated on modern era vehicles, forgot the name tho.

Funny enough, I was starting to watch the Cursed by Design videos and I did notice the difference. War Thunder COULD be such a good game. If Gaijin wants to make money off of this game, long term players could help them but they don’t notice that. If Gaijin cared about its players and took the advice, this game could be great. The way I see it, a game’s community, content creators, and basic level employees such as support are one thing while the higher ups and developers are a completely separate entity. I always think of easy to implement features and changes that many different players would enjoy. However, these stay thoughts. I’d love to see Gaijin care about the community. We aren’t just GiB fReE aBrAmS aNd FiX yOuR gAmE, we have real ideas that would help the game.
